New Automated Production Line Commissioned
$2M investment in CNC turning centers and robotic welding arms increases capacity by 40%.
On October 25, 2024, Yuhuan Guanfeng Auto Parts officially commissioned a new automated production line at our manufacturing facility in Yuhuan, Zhejiang. This $2 million investment represents the largest single upgrade in our company's history.
State-of-the-Art Equipment
The new production line features 6 units of DMG MORI NLX-2500 CNC turning centers, 2 robotic welding arms from ABB, and a fully automated heat treatment line from Aichelin. These additions bring our total CNC machine count to 48 units.
The robotic welding system uses vision-guided technology to ensure consistent weld quality on every drive shaft assembly. This technology reduces welding time by 60% while improving joint strength uniformity.
Capacity Increase
With the new line fully operational, our annual production capacity has increased from 1.5 million pieces to 2.1 million pieces, a 40% improvement. The additional capacity will primarily serve our growing European and North American markets.
Quality Improvement
The new CNC machines feature online measurement systems that check every part during machining. This reduces the need for post-process inspection and eliminates dimensional variation before parts move to assembly.
